Important Registration Information

As grant notifications will be made after the final paper upload and paper presenter registration deadline and the early bird registration deadline, applicants should register as required by the conference to avail of the early bird rate.

Delegates are advised to please then select the “pay by bank transfer” option when completing registration which will allow you to register without completing payment.

Once the Travel Grant notifications are made, the registration fee will be waived for successful applicants and the conference secretariat will adjust your registration and reissue your confirmation email and send information on how an accommodation reservation may be added to your booking.

Unsuccessful applicants will be advised on Wednesday June 14, 2023 and have until June 21, 2023 to make payment at the early bird rate. If they no longer wish to attend the conference, we ask that they notify the conference secretariat immediately at

Furthermore, we advise those who may not be able to travel if they do not receive a travel grant, to not reserve accommodation until the notifications are sent, as accommodation cancellation terms and conditions must be adhered to.

The grants for participation in INTERSPEECH 2023 will be administered by ISCA.

The purpose of the grants is to support diversity of both scientific topics at the conference, as well as a wide representation of the international speech science and technology community. Applicants from all countries are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to applicants from under-represented segments of our community, both geographically and otherwise.
